| Beschreibung[en] |

The present invention refers to a braid, of the type generally used
to trim or finish decoratives or finishing edgings of garments and has as a principal
object to provide a structure for said braid which permits the obtainment of flexibility
and its correlative feeling of movement and length which accompanies and even gracefully
exaggerate the movement that the user spontaneously impresses to the garments.
Through the structural arrangement which constitutes the principal
object of this invention, it is hereby try to create in the user, a movement feeling
in the ornaments of the garment, accompanying or exaggerating the movement in
the measurement of the garment used, obtaining a cadence that results very attractive,
at the same time that the idea and embodiment of the braid, result in a great simplicity
without metallic elements or with bright edges, such as purls or sequins which
may determine risks or troubles for the user or the like.
There are known in the art of dressing, braids manufactured through
the union of threads mixed with gold and other metals more or less bright; the
ornament with base purls and hanging sequins which present in addition to a remarkable
high cost, difficulty in that referring to their fitting to garments; stifness
and lack of spontaneous and rythmical movement, all of which are attained through
the novel structure which constitutes the base of the present invention that is
composed by a plurality of filaments of an elastomeric material, such as rubber,
arranged in form of reversed "U" coplanarly aligned and connected by the adjacent
part to the curvature by a pair of central textile strand in the middle part and
at least a part of parallel elastomeric filaments parallel and exterior to the
central strand so conforming a braid fixing band which constitutes the base of
the invention to the desired portion of the garment, being in liberty the loosed
braid filaments which through the particular conformation of the whole structure,
not only copy the base movement but thee multiply and exaggerate in a highly gracile
and attractive manner.
In order that the invention may be construed and carried same into
operation with facility it has been represented in its form of preferred embodiment
in the attached drawings in which:
- FIGURE 1 ;
- is an elevation view of the braid object of this invention.
- FIGURE 2 ;
- is a A-A section view of the invention illustrated in Figure 1.
- FIGURE 3 ;
- is a section view through the line B-B of the invention illustrated in Figure
1, shown in detail the connection of the rubber filaments through textile means.
- FIGURE 4 ;
- is a section view through the line C-C of the invention illustrated in Figure
1, shown in detail the connection of the rubber elements with transversal filaments,
also of rubber united among them and arranged in a form parallel to the textile
means.
- FIGURE 5 ;
- is a section view through the line C-C of the invention illustrated in Figure
1 showing a variant of the connection of the rubber filaments with filaments also
of rubber, twisted round about them and arranged in parallel form to the textiles.
   In all the figures there are indicated with the
same references, similar or corresponding parts of the invented braid that it
is constituted by a plurality of filements 1, arranged in coplanar form and affecting
a form of a reversed "U", the curved portion remaining in the superior line and,
adjacent to same a transversal band to the filaments line i, said band being composed
by rubber spinning 3 in its exterior strips and by textile spinning 2, in the intermediate
strips, so as to provide an anchorage system of the filaments i to the garment
or object on which the braid shall be arranged. Since the parts of textile spinning
2, are arranged in the central part of the transversal band and while those of
elastic spinning occupy the external edges of the band, this means that the movement
flexibility of the filaments integrating the braid are more exaggerated and outstand
even more the movement of the base fixed to the garment on which the braid is
arranged, being moreover understood that the strip composed by the elastic and
textile transversal spinning allows an easy application through seaming or the
like to the place on which the braid shall be effectively placed to which we have
been referred to since the free ends of the filaments integrated by same shall
be moved with singular looseness and gracefulness, outstanding the movement of
the base fixed to the garment or object to which the braid object of this invention
has to be applied.

| Anspruch[en] |
- A braid which includes a plurality of rubber filaments or of any other elastomeric
material, joined by one of its ends, CHARACTERIZED by the fact that the plurality
of rubber filaments present a form of reversed "U" and are coplanarly connected
by a stripe conformed by a pair of central spinning of textile material and at
least a pair of rubber spinning or of any other elastomeric material arranged in
parallel form to the pair of central spinning of textile material adjacent to
the "U" curvature zone and setting free and loose the ends of the rubber filaments
opossed to the "U" curve.
