Background of the Invention 1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to non-animal polymer compositions suitable for film forming, particularly hard and soft capsules, comprising water soluble cellulose ethers, hydrocolloids and sequestering agents.

2. Description of Related Art

Capsules are widely used in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in the health food supplement market. The main usage thereof is as dosage form for solid, semi-solid, liquid, pellet or herbal preparations. A primary objection of these dosage forms is to have a good disintegration after being administered in order to enable an effective dissolution of the active substances in the appropriate digestive organ. Consequently, this disintegration characteristic has to remain stable over time when finished products are stored prior to use.

The traditional material for forming the capsule shell is gelatin, because it has the correct and quite ideal properties. Nevertheless, gelatin has some disadvantages which make it necessary to have other capsule shell materials available. A major unfavorable aspect is the animal origin of gelatin. Other disadvantages are the inconveniences of relatively high water content (10-17%) and the loss of elasticity with decreasing water content. Furthermore gelatin capsules are sensitive to heat and humidity which affects the usability of the product. In particular, soft gelatin capsules are known to aggregate under hot and humid conditions. Under dry conditions gelatin films may induce static charge build up affecting later processing.

As a gelatin substitute the use of water soluble film forming cellulose derivatives is widely described in the literature. Reports of capsules made from cellulose derivatives refer to poor disintegration in vivo especially when compared with gelatin. To overcome this drawback in EP0714656 it is suggested to use hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC) with a viscosity of 2.4 to 5.4 centistokes in 2% aqueous solution at 20°C with carrageenan as gelling agent and calcium or potassium ions as co-gelling agent. However the very low viscosity of HPMC resulting from lower molecular weight chains induces higher film brittleness. Furthermore, the use of this composition results in an undesirable loss of transparency of the film. Attempts to improve transparency are disclosed in EP0592130 by exposing HPMC to UV radiation prior to capsule processing.

Summary of the Invention

It has been found that a polymer film composition for capsules wherein the ratios of cellulose ethers, hydrocolloids and sequestering agents are 90 to 99.98% by weight of a cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers with a water content of 2 to 10%, 0.01 to 5% by weight of a hydrocolloid or mixtures of hydrocolloids, and 0.01 to 5% by weight of a sequestering agent or agents do not have the mentioned disadvantages.

Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments

Suitable cellulose ethers for the present invention are alkyl- and/or hydroxyalkyl substituted cellulose ether with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl chains, preferably methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose, hydroxyethylethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose or the like. Especially preferred is HPMC. The amount of the cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers is preferably 95 to 99.98% by weight. The viscosity of the cellulose ether or blend is 3 to 15 cps in 2% aqueous solution at 20°C, preferred 5 to 10, especially preferred 6 cps.

Suitable hydrocolloids include such items as synthetic gums which are capable of gelling without the addition of alkaline or alkaline earth metal ions. The preferred gum for this purpose is gellan gum. Such gum, particularly including gellan gum, may be combined in mixtures producing synergistic properties which mixtures may also include natural seaweeds, natural seed gums, natural plant exudates, natural fruit extracts, bio-synthetic gums, bio-synthetic processed starch or cellulosic materials. More specifically, the mixture may include alginates, agar gum, guar gum, locust bean gum (carob), carrageenan, tara gum, gum arabic, ghatti gum, Khaya grandifolia gum, tragacanth gum, karaya gum, pectin, arabian (araban), xanthan, gellan, starch, Konjac mannan, galactomannan, funoran, and other exocellular polysaccharides of which are preferred the exocellular polysaccharides, such as xanthan, acetan, gellan, welan, rhamsan, furcelleran, succinoglycan, scleroglycan, schizophyllan, tamarind gum, curdlan, pullulan, dextran. The amount of gum present is preferably 0.01 to 2% by weight and especially preferred 0.1 to 1.0%.

The preferred sequestering agents are ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, acetic acid, boric acid, citric acid, gluconic acid, lactic acid, phosphoric acid, tartaric acid or salts thereof, methaphosphates, dihydroxyethylglycine, lecithin or beta cyclodextrin and combinations thereof. Especially preferred is ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or salts thereof or citric acid or salts thereof. The amount is preferably 0.01 to 3%, especially 0.1 to 2% by weight.

The sequestering mechanism can be adjusted by addition of either monovalent or divalent cations, such a Ca++, Mg++, K+, Na+, Li+, NH4+ or the like.

Capsules or films with the inventive polymer composition may be manufactured with conventional machines by the conventional processes like extrusion moulding, injection moulding, casting or dip moulding.

The capsules and films have a non-animal polymer composition, an improved dissolution behavior, an enhanced elasticity and show higher transparency. The enhanced elasticity makes the capsules more useful for inhalation products. Furthermore the capsules are not sensitive to formaldehyde, for e.g. from a contaminated fill and they have a better temperature stability compared to gelatin capsules, because a crosslinking at storage on elevated temperatures does not occur.

The inventive polymer composition may contain additionally acceptable plasticizers in a range from about 0 to 40% based upon the weight of the cellulose ether. Suitable plasticizers are polyethylene glycol, glycerol, sorbitol, sucrose, corn syrup, fructose, dioctyl-sodium sulfosuccinate, triethyl citrate, tributyl citrate, 1,2-propylenglycol, mono-, di- or triacetates of glycerol, natural gums or the like as well as mixtures thereof.

The inventive polymer composition may contain in a further aspect additionally pharmaceutically or food acceptable coloring agents in the range of from about 0 to about 10% based upon the weight of the cellulose ether. The coloring agents may be selected from azo-, quinophthalone-, triphenylmethane-, xanthene- or indigoid dyes, iron oxides or hydroxides, titanium dioxide or natural dyes or mixtures thereof. Examples are patent blue V, acid brilliant green BS, red 2G, azorubine, ponceau 4R, amaranth, D+C red 33, D+C red 22, D+C red 26, D+C red 28, D+C yellow 10-, yellow 2G, FD+C yellow 5, FD+C yellow 6, FD+C red 3, FD+C red 40, FD+C blue 1, FD+C blue 2, FD+C green 3, brilliant black BN, carbon black, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, titanium dioxide, riboflavin, carotenes, anthocyanines, turmeric, cochineal extract, clorophyllin, canthaxanthin, caramel, or betanin.

The shaped polymer composition of the invention or the final product thereof may be coated with a suitable coating agent like cellulose acetate phthalate, polyvinyl acetate phthalate, methacrylic acid polymers, hypromellose phthalate, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, hydroxyalkyl methyl cellulose phthalates or mixtures thereof to provide e.g. enteric properties.

The polymer composition of the invention may be used for the production of containers for providing unit dosage forms for example for agrochemicals, seeds, herbs, foodstuffs, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, flavoring agents and the like.

The improved elasticity of the inventive polymer composition makes it useful for the encapsulation of caplets in a capsule, especially in a tamper-proof form. The encapsulation of a caplet in a capsule is preferred processed by cold shrinking together capsule parts, which are filled with a caplet, which comprises the steps providing empty capsule parts, filling at least one of said capsule parts with one or more caplets, putting said capsule parts together, and treating the combined capsule parts by cold shrinking.

The inventive polymer composition is also useful for encapsulating and sealing the two capsule halves in a process in which one or more layers of the composition are applied over the seam of the cap and body, or by a liquid fusion process wherein the filled capsules are wetted with a hydroalcoholic solution that penetrates into the space where the cap overlaps the body, and then dried as disclosed in e.g. EP-A-0180543.

The improved properties of the polymer composition are demonstrated by the following composition and comparative examples.

  1. Polymerverbindungen zur Filmbildung, umfassend
    • a) 90 bis 99,98 Gewichtsprozent Celluloseether oder eine Mischung von Celluloseethern mit einem Wassergehalt von 2 bis 10 % und mit einer Viskosität von 3 bis 15 cP gemessen in einer 2-prozentigen wässrigen Lösung bei 20 °C,
    • b) 0,01 bis 5 Gewichtsprozent eines Hydrokolloids oder Mischungen von Hydrokolloiden, wobei die Hydrokolloide Gellangummi umfassen, entweder einzeln oder in Mischung mit anderen Polysacchariden, und
    • c) 0,01 bis 8 Gewichtsprozent eines Maskierungsmittels oder Mischungen davon.
  2. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Celluloseether oder die Mischung aus Celluloseethern ausgewählt wird aus alkyl- und/oder hydroxyalkylsubstituierten Celluloseethern mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen in den Alkylketten.
  3. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 2, wobei der Celluloseether oder die Mischung aus Celluloseethern ausgewählt wird aus Methylcellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Hydroxyethylmethylcellulose, Hydroxyethylethylcellulose, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose.
  4. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 3, wobei es sich bei dem Celluloseether um Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose handelt.
  5. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Hydrokolloid oder die Mischung aus Hydrokolloiden auch ein oder mehrere von Alginaten, Agargummi, Guargummi, Johannisbrotgummi, Karragheen, Taragummi, Gummiarabikum, Ghattigummi, Khaye Grandifolia-Gummi, Tragantgummi, Karaya-Gummi, Pektin, Arabian (Araban), Xanthan, Stärke, Konjac-Mannan, Galactomannan, Funoran oder extrazellulären Polysacchariden, wie zum Beispiel Acetan, Welan, Rhamsan, Furcelleran, Succinoglycan, Scleroglycan, Schizophyllan, Tamarindegummi, Curdlan, Pullulan oder Dextran umfasst.
  6. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Maskierungsmittel oder die Mischung aus Maskierungsmitteln ausgewählt ist aus Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure, Essigsäure, Borsäure, Zitronensäure, Edetinsäure, Gluconsäure, Milchsäure, Phosphorsäure, Weinsäure oder Salzen davon, Metaphosphaten, Dihydroxyethylglycin, Lecithin oder Beta-Cyclodextrin.
  7. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 6, wobei das Maskierungsmittel oder die Mischung aus Maskierungsmitteln ausgewählt ist aus Ethylendiamintetraessigsäure oder Salzen davon oder Zitronensäure oder Salzen davon.
  8. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei
    • a) der Celluloseether oder die Mischung aus Celluloseethern in einer Menge von 95 bis 99,98 Gewichtsprozent enthalten ist,
    • b) das Polysaccharid oder die Polysaccharidmischung in einer Menge von 0,01 bis 2 Gewichtsprozent enthalten ist, und
    • c) das Maskierungsmittel in einer Menge von 0,01 bis 3 Gewichtsprozent enthalten ist.
  9. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Celluloseether oder die Mischung aus Celluloseethern eine Viskosität von 5 bis 10 cP, vorzugsweise 6 cP gemessen in einer 2-prozentigen wässrigen Lösung bei 20 °C aufweist.
  10. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, welche zusätzlich Weichmacher in einem Bereich von etwa 0 bis 40 % basierend auf dem Gewicht des Celluloseethers enthält.
  11. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 10, wobei der Weichmacher oder die Mischung aus Weichmachern ausgewählt ist aus Polyethylenglycol, Glycerol, Sorbitol, Sucrose, Stärkezuckersirup, Fructose, Dioctylnatriumsulfosuccinat, Triethylcitrat, Tributylcitrat, 1,2-Propylenglycol, Mono-, Di- oder Triacetaten von Glycerol oder natürlichen Gummiarten.
  12. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1, welche zusätzlich Färbehilfsmittel in einem Bereich von etwa 0 bis 10 % basierend auf dem Gewicht des Celluloseethers enthält.
  13. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 12, wobei das Färbehilfsmittel oder die Mischung aus Färbehilfsmitteln ausgewählt ist aus Azo-, Chinophthalon-, Triphenylmethan-, Xanthen- oder indigoiden Farbstoffen, Eisenoxiden oder Hydroxiden, Titandioxid oder natürlichen Farbstoffen.
  14. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Färbehilfsmittel oder die Mischung aus Färbehilfsmitteln ausgewählt ist aus Patentblau V, Säurebrilliantgrün BS, Rot 2G, Azorubin, Ponceau 4R, Amaranth, D+C Rot 33, D+C Rot 22, D+C Rot 26, D+C Rot 28, D+C Gelb 10, Gelb 2 G, FD+C Gelb 5, FD+C Gelb 6, FD+C Rot 3, FD+C Rot 40, FD+C Blau 1, FD+C Blau 2, FD+C Grün 3, oder Brilliantschwarz BN.
  15. Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 13, wobei das Färbehilfsmittel oder die Mischung aus Färbehilfsmitteln ausgewählt ist aus Kohleschwarz, Eisenoxidschwarz, Eisenoxidrot, Eisenoxidgelb, Titandioxid, Riboflavin, Carotinen, Anthocyanen, Curcuma, Cochenilleextrakt, Chlorophyllin, Canthaxanthin, Karamel oder Betanin.
  16. Behälter für Einheitendosierungsformen für Agrochemikalien, Samen, Kräuter, Nahrungsmittel, Färbemittel, Arzneimittel oder Geschmacksstoffe, hergestellt aus den Polymerverbindungen nach Anspruch 1.
  17. Behälter nach Anspruch 16, der die Form einer Arzneistoffkapsel aufweist.
  18. Behälter nach Anspruch 16, wobei der Behälter eine Beschichtung umfaßt.
  19. Behälter mit einer Beschichtung nach Anspruch 18, wobei die Beschichtung ausgewählt ist aus Celluloseacetatphthalat, Polyvinylacetatphthalat, Methacrylsäurepolymeren, Hypromellosephthalat, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulosephthalat, Hydroxyalkylmethylcellulosephthalaten oder Mischungen davon.
  20. Verwendung einer Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1 für die Einkapselung von Tabletten.
  21. Verwendung einer Polymerverbindung nach Anspruch 1 zum Abdichten von Kapseln nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kapselhälften mit einer oder mehreren Schichten der Polymerverbindung abgedichtet werden.
  22. Verfahren zum Abdichten von Kapseln nach Anspruch 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Kapselhälften durch einen Flüssigschmelzprozeß abgedichtet werden.
Anspruch[en]
  1. Polymer compositions for film forming comprising
    • a) 90 to 99.98 % by weight of a cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers with a water content of 2 to 10 % and with a viscosity of 3 to 15 cps measured in a 2 % aqueous solution at 20°C,
    • b) 0.01 to 5 % by weight of a hydrocolloide or mixtures of hydrocolloides, wherein said hydrocolloids comprise gellan gum, either singularly or in mixtures with other polysaccharides, and
    • c) 0.01 to 8 % by weight of a sequestering agent or mixtures thereof.
  2. A polymer composition according to claims 1, wherein the cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers is selected from alkyl- and/or hydroxyalkyl substituted cellulose ethers with 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl chains.
  3. A polymer composition according to claim 2, wherein the cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers is selected from methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyethylmethyl cellulose, hydroxyethylethyl cellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
  4. A polymer composition according to claim 3, wherein the cellulose ether is hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
  5. A polymer composition according to claims 1, wherein the hydrocolloid or mixture of hydrocolloids also includes one or more of alginates, agar gum, guar gum, locust bean gum (carob), carrageenan, tara gum, gum arabic, ghatti gum, Khaya grandifolia gum, tragacanth gum, karaya gum, pectin, arabian (araban), xanthan, starch, Konjac mannan, galactomannan, funoran or exocellular polysaccharides such as acetan, welan, rhamsan, furcelleran, succinoglycan, scleroglycan, schizophyllan, tamarind gum, curdlan, pullulan or dextran.
  6. A polymer composition according to claim 1, wherein the sequestering agent or mixture of sequestering agents is selected from ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, acetic acid, boric acid, citric acid, edetic acid, gluconic acid, lactic acid, phosphoric acid, tartaric acid or salts thereof, methaphosphates, dihydroxyethylglycine, lecithin or beta cyclodextrin.
  7. A polymer composition according to claim 6, wherein wherein the sequestering agent or mixture of sequestering agents is selected from ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or salts thereof or citric acid or salts thereof.
  8. A polymer composition according to claim 1, wherein a) the cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers is contained in an amount of 95 to 99.98 % by weight, b) the polysaccharide or polysaccharide mixture is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 2 % by weight, and c) the sequestering agent is contained in an amount of 0.01 to 3 % by weight.
  9. A polymer composition according to claim 1, wherein the cellulose ether or mixture of cellulose ethers has a viscosity of 5 to 10, preferred 6 cps measured in a 2 % aqueous solution at 20°C.
  10. A polymer composition according to claim 1 containing additionally plasticizers in an range from about 0 to 40 % based upon the weight of the cellulose ether.
  11. A polymer composition according to claim 10 wherein the plasticizer or mixture of plasticizers is selected from polyethylene glycol, glycerol, sorbitol, sucrose, corn syryp, fructose, dioctyl-sodium sulfosuccinate, triethyl citrate, tributyl citrate, 1,2-propylenglycol, mono-, di- or triacetates of glycerol, or natural gums.
  12. A polymer composition according to claim 1 containing additionally coloring agents in an range from about 0 to 10 % based upon the weight of the cellulose ether.
  13. A polymer composition according to claim 12 wherein the coloring agent or mixture of coloring agents is selected from azo-, quinophthalone-, triphenylmethane-, xanthene- or indigoid dyes, iron oxides or hydroxides, titanium dioxide or natural dyes.
  14. A polymer composition according to claim 13 wherein the coloring agent or mixture of coloring agents is selected from patent blue V, acid brilliant green BS, red 2G, azorubine, ponceau 4R, amaranth, D+C red 33, D+C red 22, D+C red 26, D+C red 28, D+C yellow 10, yellow 2 G, FD+C yellow 5, FD+C yellow 6, FD+C red 3, FD+C red 40, FD+C blue 1, FD+C blue 2, FD+C green 3, or brilliant black BN.
  15. A polymer composition according to claim 13 wherein the coloring agent or mixture of coloring agents is selected from carbon black, iron oxide black, iron oxide red, iron oxide yellow, titanium dioxide, riboflavin, carotenes, anthocyanines, turmeric, cochineal extract, clorophyllin, canchaxanthin, caramel, or betanin.
  16. Containers for unit dosage forms for agrochemicals, seeds, herbs, foodstuffs, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals, or flavoring agents produced from the polymer compositions according to claim 1.
  17. A container according to claim 16 which is in the form of a pharmaceutical capsule.
  18. A container according to claim 16, wherein the container comprises a coating.
  19. The container having a coating according to claim 18 wherein the coating is selected from cellulose acetate phthalate, polyvinyl acetate phthalate, methacrylic acid polymers, hypromellose phthalate, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose phthalate, hydroxyalkyl methyl cellulose phthalates or mixtures thereof.
  20. Use of a polymer composition according to claim 1 for the encapsulation of caplets.
  21. Use of a polymer composition according to claim 1 for the sealing of capsules according to claim 17, characterized in that the capsule halves are sealed with one or more layers of the polymeric composition.
  22. Method of sealing of capsules according to claim 16, characterized in that the capsule halves are sealed by a liquid fusion process.

  1. Compositions de polymère pour l'élaboration de films comprenant :
    • a) 90 à 99,98% en poids d'un éther de cellulose ou d'un mélange d'éthers de cellulose ayant une teneur en eau de 2 à 10% et une viscosité de 3 à 15 cps mesurée en solution aqueuse à 2% à 20°C,
    • b) 0,01 à 5% en poids d'un hydrocolloïde ou de mélanges d'hydrocolloïdes, lesdits hydrocolloïdes comprenant de la gomme de gellan, soit seule, soit en mélange avec d'autres polysaccharides, et
    • c) 0,01 à 8% en poids d'un agent séquestrant ou de mélanges d'agents séquestrants.
  2. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'éther de cellulose ou le mélange d'éthers de cellulose est choisi parmi les éthers de cellulose alkylés et/ou hydroxyalkylés, dont les chaînes alkyles comprennent de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone.
  3. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 2, dans laquelle l'éther de cellulose ou le mélange d'éthers de cellulose est choisi parmi méthyl cellulose, hydroxyéthyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxyéthylméthyl cellulose, hydroxyéthyléthyl cellulose, hydropropylméthyl cellulose.
  4. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle l'éther de cellulose est l'hydroxypropylméthyl cellulose.
  5. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'hydrocolloïde ou le mélange d'hydrocolloïdes comprend aussi un ou plusieurs alginates, gomme d'agar, gomme de guar, gomme de fève de caroubier, carragénine, gomme de tara, gomme arabique, gomme de ghatti, gomme de Khaya grandifolia, gomme tragacanthe, gomme de Karaya, pectine, l'arabian (araban), xanthan, amidon, mannan de Konjac, galactomannan, funoran ou des polysaccharides exocellulaires comme acétan, welan, rhamsan, furcelleran, succinoglycan, scléroglycan, schizophyllan, gomme de tamarin, curdlan, pullulan ou dextran.
  6. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'agent séquestrant ou le mélange d'agents séquestrants est choisi parmi l'acide éthylène diamine tetraacétique, acide acétique, acide borique, acide citrique, acide editic, acide gluconique, l'acide lactique, l'acide phosphorique, l'acide tartrique ou leurs sels, les méthaphosphates, le dihydroxyéthylglycine, la lécitine ou la beta cyclodextrine.
  7. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 6, dans laquelle l'agent séquestrant ou le mélange d'agents séquestrants est choisi parmi l'acide éthylène diamine tetracétique ou ses sels, ou l'acide citrique ou ses sels.
  8. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle :
    • a) l'éther de cellulose ou le mélange d'éthers de cellulose est présent à raison de 95 à 99,98% en poids,
    • b) le polysaccharide ou le mélange de polysaccharides est présent à raison de 0,01 à 2% en poids, et
    • c) l'agent séquestrant est présent à raison de 0,01 à 3% en poids.
  9. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'éther de cellulose ou le mélange d'éthers de cellulose présente une viscosité de 5 à 10, de préférence 6 cps, mesurée en solution aqueuse à 2% à 20°C.
  10. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, contenant en outre des plastifiants à raison de 0 à 40% en poids par rapport au poids de l'éther de cellulose.
  11. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 10, dans laquelle le plastifiant ou mélange de plastifiants est choisi parmi polyéthylène glycol, glycérol, sorbitol, saccharose, sirop de maïs fructose, dioctyl-sodium sulfosuccinate, citrate de triétyle, citrate de tributyle, 1,2-propylène glycol, mono-, di- ou triacétates de glycérole, ou gommes naturelles.
  12. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1, contenant en outre des agents colorants à raison d'environ 0 à 10% exprimés par rapport au poids de l'éther de cellulose.
  13. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 12, dans laquelle l'agent colorant ou le mélange d'agents colorants est choisi parmi les colorants azaïques, quinophtaloniques, triphénylméthane, xanthène ou indigoïde, les oxydes ou hydroxydes de fer, dioxyde de titane ou des colorants naturels.
  14. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 13, dans laquelle l'agent colorant ou le mélange d'agent colorant est choisi parmi le bleu patenté V, le vert brillant acide BS, le rouge 2G, l'azorubine, le ponceau 4R, l'amaranthe, le rouge D+C 33, le rouge D+C 22, le rouge D+C 26, le rouge D+C 28, le jaune D+C 10, le jaune 2G, le jaune FD+C 5, le jaune FD+C 6, le rouge FD+C 3, le rouge FD+C 40, le bleu FD+C 1, le bleu FD+C 2, le vert FD+C 3 ou le noir brillant BN.
  15. Une composition de polymère selon la revendication 13, dans laquelle l'agent colorant ou le mélange d'agents colorants est choisi parmi le noir de carbone, le noir d'oxyde fer, le rouge d'oxyde de fer, le jaune d'oxyde de fer, le dioxyde de titane, la riboflavine, les carotènes, l'anthocyanine, le safran, l'extrait de cochineal, la chlorophylline, la canthaxanthine, le caramel ou la bétanine.
  16. Emballage pour formes de colorants, doses unitaires pour produits agrochimiques, graines, herbes, produits alimentaires, produits pharmaceutiques, ou agents aromatisants, obtenus à partir des compositions de polymère selon la revendication 1.
  17. Un emballage selon la revendication 16, qui est sous forme d'une capsule pharmaceutique.
  18. Un contenant selon la revendication 16, dans lequel le contenant comprend un enrobage.
  19. Le contenant présentant un enrobage selon la revendication 18 dans lequel l'enrobage est choisi parmi acétate phthalate de cellulose, acétate phthalate de polyvinyle, polymère de l'acide méthacrylique, phthalate d'hypromellose, phthalate d'hydroxypropylméthyl cellulose, phthalates d'hydroxyalkylméthyl cellulose, ou leurs mélanges.
  20. Utilisation d'une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1 pour l'encapsulation de microgellules.
  21. Utilisation d'une composition de polymère selon la revendication 1 pour l'emballage étanche de capsules selon la revendication 17, caractérisée en ce que les demi capsules scellées à l'aide d'une ou plusieurs couches de composition polymère.
  22. Méthode de scellement de capsules selon la revendication 16, caractérisée en ce que les demi capsules sont scellées par une opération de fusion liquide.
